Policy

Cancellation & refund policy.

Plans change. We try to keep cancellations simple while respecting the creators who reserve time for your shoot.

Cancelling a shoot

What you get back, and when

48+ hours before your shoot

100% refund

Cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled start and your full payment is returned to your original payment method. There is no separate non-refundable booking fee.

24–48 hours before your shoot

50% refund

Your creator has already reserved this time and may have turned down other work, so half of your payment is returned.

Less than 24 hours before your shoot

Non-refundable

Your creator has reserved this time specifically for your shoot, so bookings cancelled inside 24 hours aren't refundable.

Timing is measured from the scheduled start of your shoot in its local time zone, minus the moment you cancel — the real time difference, not a calendar-day count. You’ll always see the refund amount before you confirm a cancellation, so nothing is a surprise afterwards.

Rescheduling

You can reschedule a booking once at no additional charge when you ask at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Rescheduling depends on creator availability.

If your creator can’t make the new time, we don’t quietly cancel your booking. You can pick another time that works for them, or ask us to match you with another vetted local creator. Wherever possible your booking stays in place.

If your creator cancels

We look for a replacement first. You’ll see a clear message on your booking: “Your creator is no longer available. We’re finding you a replacement.”

If we can’t provide a suitable replacement, you receive a 100% refund. A creator who cancels their own booking isn’t paid for it.

No-shows

If your creator doesn’t show up: once Quiqpix has verified the no-show, you choose between a replacement shoot at no additional charge or a 100% refund. The creator isn’t paid for a verified no-show. No one is marked as a no-show automatically — a person at Quiqpix reviews it.

If the shoot can’t go ahead on your side: when your creator arrives at the agreed location at the scheduled time and the shoot can’t proceed, it’s treated as a same-day cancellation and isn’t refundable.

Weather and the unexpected

Severe weather, a venue closing, an emergency, unsafe shooting conditions — things neither you nor your creator can control. In those situations we prioritise rescheduling over cancellation penalties. Message us from your booking and we’ll work out a new time. Unusual situations can always be reviewed by Quiqpix.

After the shoot

Once the scheduled shoot has taken place, the booking is no longer eligible for a standard cancellation refund.

If your delivered content needs adjustments, use the revisions included with your package first — every Quiqpix package includes 2 rounds of revisions. See our pricing page for what each package includes.

If a creator fails to deliver, materially fails to provide the agreed deliverables, abandons the job, or delivers something substantially inconsistent with your booking, contact Quiqpix and we’ll review it. Creative work that was delivered as booked isn’t automatically refunded because of a difference in taste.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Once your refund is processed, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. Any sales tax collected on your booking is refunded along with the refunded portion of your payment.

How your payment is protected

Your payment is held securely by Quiqpix when you book and is only released to your creator after you approve the delivered content — or automatically once the review window ends. That’s what makes these refunds possible.

Common questions

How is the cancellation window calculated?

From the exact scheduled start time of your shoot in its local time zone, minus the moment you cancel. It's the real time difference, not a calendar-day count. A Friday 2:00 PM shoot cancelled Thursday at 1:30 PM is more than 24 hours' notice.

Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?

Yes. You can reschedule a booking once at no extra charge as long as you request it at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Rescheduling depends on creator availability.

What happens if my creator cancels?

Quiqpix looks for another qualified local creator for your date first. If we can't provide a suitable replacement, you receive a 100% refund. A creator who cancels their own booking isn't paid for it.

What if the creator doesn't show up?

Once the no-show is verified by Quiqpix, you choose between a replacement shoot at no additional charge or a 100% refund. A creator isn't paid for a verified no-show.

What if I can't go ahead once the creator arrives?

If your creator arrives at the agreed location at the scheduled time and the shoot can't proceed, it's treated as a same-day cancellation and isn't refundable.

What if bad weather makes the shoot impossible?

We prioritise rescheduling over penalties for things outside anyone's control — severe weather, a venue closing, an emergency, or unsafe shooting conditions. Message us through your booking and we'll find a new time.

Can I get a refund after the shoot happened?

Once the shoot has taken place the booking is no longer eligible for a standard cancellation refund. Every package includes 2 rounds of revisions, so start there if the content needs adjustments. If a creator fails to deliver, abandons the job, or delivers something substantially inconsistent with your booking, contact Quiqpix for review.

How long do refunds take?

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Once your refund is processed, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
